OUR JOURNEY
Hands up if you have a dedicated, awesome, eco-friendly luxury towel for working out…if you raised your hand, you my friend are a rare find.
Inspired by years of working in the fitness industry and spending countless hours in the gym, I saw an opportunity to ‘zhuzh’ up the mandatory towel situation. With most of us spending a small fortune on ensuring that our gym wear is on point, we seem to neglect the poor old gym towel scene and instead grab a towel from the foot well of the car that looks as though it’s lived in a communal bathroom at a truck stop. Eek … that’s enough to put anybody off working out, right?!
Hey there, I’m Lola the founder of Jymjunki. Located in sunny Queensland, I am passionate about fitness, travel, wellness, nature and yep you guessed it … the JYM.
During my many years teaching pilates, pump and aqua aerobics, I noticed a consistent theme; woman prioritised their outfits over their essential towel. With covid making the mandatory gym towel policy even stricter, I set about levelling up an everyday essential by creating fabulously fresh gym towels that look great and are also sustainable and functional … it was right here that the passion project Jymjunki was born.
Celebrating all things wellness with style and sustainability, the ever-growing Jymjunki collection is designed right here in our Brisbane studio and made to withstand even the most vigorous workouts.
Forget grabbing an old towel from the linen closet, we are here to shake up gym etiquette and the Jymjunki collection invites innovative functionality, renewable style and hygiene to your workout day in and day out.
